Village Plan
This is the first version of the draft ‘Little
Horwood Matters’ Village Plan.
The plan, in its current format, focuses on the
content of what the action groups have recommended from
the results from the survey.
Once we have gathered all your feedback; we will produce
our Little Horwood Matters Village Plan to be
distributed to all households by mid September.
What is a Village Plan?
Village Plans are creating local visions and
achievable action plans in rural communities across the
country.
They provide a framework to deliver, review and
update community action.
You may ask the question - will it make a difference?
Village Plans now influence local planning policies
such as transport, affordable housing, eco-towns,
leisure facilities
Village Plans provide crucial evidence for local
funding bids and community projects
And, they encourage local identity and ownership,
creating a sense of community and a plan for the future
of the village.
