Village Plan
Little Horwood has developed a ‘Little Horwood
Matters’ Village Plan. The plan was produced through
consultation with the community. The Parish Council are
now coordinating the appropriate and relevant action
through ‘village action groups’.
A hard copy of the document can be requested from the
Parish Council.

What is a Village Plan?
Village Plans are creating local visions and
achievable action plans in rural communities across the
country.
They provide a framework to deliver, review and
update community action.
You may ask the question - will it make a difference?
Village Plans now influence local planning policies
such as transport, affordable housing, eco-towns,
leisure facilities
Village Plans provide crucial evidence for local
funding bids and community projects
And, they encourage local identity and ownership,
creating a sense of community and a plan for the future
of the village.
